Andrew J. Fedor Jr., 82

POLAND – There will be services Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Wasko Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. in St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church for Andrew J. Fedor Jr., 82, who passed away Friday at the Hospice House in Boardman with his beloved wife by his side.
Mr. Fedor was born Jan. 16, 1924 in Campbell, a son of Andrew J. Sr. and Susan Takach Fedor.
He was a 1941 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School, attended Youngstown State University and received a Master’s degree in Education from Westminster University.
Mr. Fedor was an educator in the area for more than 30 years, teaching fourth grade at Byzantine Catholic Central School and serving as principal at West Elementary, Adam’s and Roosevelt Schools in Youngstown.
He was a member of St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church, the Greek Catholic Union and the Ohio Education Association.
Mr. Fedor was a graphic artist and enjoyed traveling, gardening woodworking and fishing.
He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Helen Truhan, whom he married May 23, 1954; two brothers, Julius Fedor of Campbell and Alex (Mary Alice) Fedor of Poland; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home, where a prayer service will be conducted at 4 p.m.
