Eleanor Zulick, 79
LIBERTY TOWNSHIP There will be a Mass of Christian Burial Friday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m. at St. Columba Cathedral for Eleanor Zulick, 79, who died Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at Park Vista Retirement Community.
Eleanor was born June 14, 1927 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph and Erma Daubnar Zulick.
She graduated from The Rayen School in 1944, and also from the University of Pittsburgh, Youngstown College, and Frances Payne Bolton School of Nursing in Cleveland.
Eleanor was employed by the Visiting Nursing Association and retired from Woodside Receiving Hospital. She was a member of St. Columba and St. Edward Church.
She is survived by a sister, Stella Zulick of Liberty; a nephew, Richard Ellis of Youngstown; two great-nieces, Cindy and Mindy Ellis of Youngstown; a great-nephew, Trent Hayes of Canton; and cousins, Lorna Larson of Louisville, Ky., Jim Smolko of Mt. Pleasant, Mich. and John and Charles Daubnar of Youngstown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Betty Ellis.
Family and friends may call today from 5 to 7 p.m. at the McVean, Hughes and McClurkin Funeral Home.
Entombment will be at Calvary Cemetery.
