Florence G. Brayer, 91

POLAND - Florence G. Brayer, 91, of the Blackburn Home, died Saturday evening at Shepherd of the Valley.
Mrs. Brayer was born in Poland Township Feb. 22, 1915, a daughter of the late Willis and Frances Schmidt Stanley.
She was a homemaker, a member of the Struthers Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Lowellville Presbyterian Church, where she sang in the choir and attended Sunday school.
Her husband, Stephen Brayer, whom she married Feb. 6, 1935, died Oct. 16, 1991.
She is survived by six nephews, William (Geraldine) Liggett, John (Louise) Liggett, Kenneth (Nancy) Morrow, John (Joyce) Pavlov, Robert (Nancy) Stanley, and Bruce Stanley; two nieces, Patricia (Richard) Hensch and Beverly (Chuck) Shadley; and one sister-in-law, Arlene Stanley.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Willis Stanley; and three sisters, Dorothy Stanley, Frances Pavlov and Ruth Liggett.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Davidson-Becker Funeral Home in Struthers, where services will follow at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Poland Riverside Cemetery.
