Raymond L. Lambing, 65
SHARON, PA. Raymond L. PA Ray Lambing, 65, of Woodland Place Skilled Nursing Facility in Mercer, Pa., died Saturday, Jan. 13, 2007 at 1:05 p.m. in Sharon Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Lambing was born April 4, 1941 in Warren, a son of Joseph and Mary Miller Lambing, and was raised by his grandmother, Katherine Miller.
He was a truck driver and milk hauler for the Middlefield Cheese Factory for 20 years prior to his retirement. He was a true animal lover, attended Howland Schools and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph; and by his aunts and uncles with whom he was raised, Margaret Obermyier, Edna Cangemi, Theda Cerny, Arthur Smokey Miller and Albert Miller.
Survivors include three sons, Joseph Lambing and wife Gina of Douglas, Ga., Carl Lambing and wife Crystal of Niles and Paul Lambing of Melbourne, Fla.; a daughter, Leta Lambing of Meadville, Pa.; a sister, Mary Margaret Wingard of Howland; a brother, Albert Lambing of Warren; an uncle, Loyd Miller of Warren; two aunts; and five grandchildren, Jeffries, Jeremy, Samantha, Hayden and Stewart.
Friends may call on Tuesday, Jan. 16, 2007 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Robert P. McDermott Memorial home, 614 Warren Ave. in Niles, where services will be held at 6 p.m.
