Rev. Willie O. Walls-Fleming, 58

YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Metropolitan Baptist Church for Rev. Willie O. Walls-Fleming, 58, who departed this life Sunday at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
He was born Aug. 27, 1949 in Gary, Ind., a son of Willie and Thelma Tate Walls.
Rev. Fleming worked at U.S. Steel, McDonald Works. He was a former member and associate minister of the church and served in its food ministry.
He leaves his mother, Thelma Allen of Youngstown; his father and stepmother, Willie and Laura Walls of Verona, Miss.; two daughters, Michele L. Parish of Columbus and Lisa L. Manigault of Youngstown; a son, De'Mon T. Parish of Youngstown; siblings, Rev. Wallace Fleming of Akron, Limmie R. Walls of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Rev. Sylvia L. Jennings, Carl S. Jennings, Michael E. Jennings and Johnnie M. Waters, all of Youngstown; his companion, Lynn Johnson of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Laura McIntosh Walls and Rev. W.L. and Mattie Thompson Washington.
Viewing will be from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
