Randy G. Cox, 49

YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home for Randy G. Cox, 49, who departed this life Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
He was born Feb. 5, 1957 in Youngstown, a son of William and Margaret Raines Cox.
Mr. Cox had worked for Monroe Steel in Struthers. He was a three-year letterman for The Rayen School varsity football and was a 1976 graduate. He also graduated from the New Castle School of Trades as a welder and was a licensed boiler technician with the U.S. Navy.
He leaves his parents of Youngstown; his siblings, Gary J. (Victoria) Cox of Columbus, Sherry Cox Calloway of Warren and Belinda (Willie) Oliver and John (Maritza) Cox, both of Youngstown; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
