Mary Alma Ples, 91

YOUNGSTOWN – There will be funeral services Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Vaschak-Kirila Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at Sts. Peter & Paul Croatian Catholic Church for Miss Mary Alma Ples, 91, who entered into rest Thursday morning at her home.
She was born Feb. 22, 1915 in Youngstown, to the late Steve and Lucy (Spehar) Ples.
She was employed as a shipper at Superior Industries, Easco, retiring in 1980.
She was a member of the church, the Croatian Pensioners Club, the American Croatian Citizens Club and the C.F.U. Lodge No. 66.
She was also a member of the Traffic Club, the A.B.W.A., and the United Steel Workers.
Mary leaves her brother, John Ples of Youngstown; her nephews, Robert (Norma) Andrews Jr. of Las Vegas, Gary (Bev) Andrews of Youngstown and Ronald Ples of Canfield; a niece, Renee Ples of Youngstown; a great-niece, Lisa Andrews; and a great-nephew, Michael (Jennifer) Andrews
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Agnes Andrews and Ann Ples.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
