Beatrice Clarissa Moore

YOUNGSTOWN – There will be services at 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 22, at L.E. Black, Phillips & Holden Funeral Home for Beatrice Clarissa Moore, who passed away Tuesday, Jan. 16.
She was born March 16, 1939 in Youngstown, a daughter of Clarence and Aretta E. Young Barnes.
She was a homemaker and loved caring for her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, of 50 years Edward Moore, whom she married June 27, 1956; two daughters, Brenda Moore and Tawana Walton and a son, Darren Moore, all of Youngstown; three sisters, Ruth Davis Brown and Irma Williams, both of Youngstown and Cheryl Turner of Columbus; a brother, Richard Barnes of Sacramento; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Edward Moore Jr.; a grandson; a great-grandson; and a sister, Aretta Douglas.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service from noon to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
