Howard F. McCurdy, 64

NORTH JACKSON – There will be services at 10 a.m. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel, for Howard F. McCurdy, 64, who passed away Wednesday, Nov. 28, at his home.
Howard was born April 14, 1943 in Harrison Twp., Pa., the son of Archie Lester and Betty Jane (Harold) McCurdy.
He was a 1962 graduate of Har-Brack High School and was an Army veteran.
Howard worked for General Motors on the assembly line in Lordstown for 30 years, retiring in 1997.
His hobbies included working on cars.
Howard is survived by two children; Mark McCurdy, with whom he made his home, and Debbie (David) Wince of Canfield; five sisters and two brothers, Pat (Bill) Simms of Natrona Heights, Jean (Don) McClure of Sarver, Gayle (Gordon) Brenneman of Freeport, Carol (Reg) Tabacheck of Springdale, Jim (Pat) McCurdy of Freeport, Dave (Debbie) McCurdy of Brackenridge, and Betsy (Rick) Markovich of Saxonburg; and six grandchildren.
Howard was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel.
