Jack E. Chaussard, 80
SHARPSVILLE A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2009, for Jack E. Chaussard, 80, of 378 Daley Road, who passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 11:04 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 3, 2009, at the Intensive Care Unit of Sharon Regional Health System.
Mr. Chaussard was born July 14, 1929 in Wheatland, Pa., the son of George and Rebecca King Chaussard.
A lifelong area resident, he graduated from Farrell High School in 1949. He retired from the former Sharon Steel Corporations Farrell Plant as a roll grinder with 42 years of service. He was a member of St. Josephs Church in Sharon.
Jack enjoyed golfing and bowling and as a bowler he belonged to the PNA bowling league for many years. He especially enjoyed Polka music, dancing, and the basic things in life, such as spending time with his family or simply cutting his lawn and tending to his garden.
His wife, Irene G. Wlodarczyk, whom he married Sept. 18, 1954 survives at home.
He also leaves his son, Bobby Chaussard of Jamestown; his two grandsons, David and Dustin Chaussard; a sister, Marilyn Stanton and her husband, Thomas R. Stanton of Wheatland; his mother-in-law, Sophie Bukus of Hermitage; and his sister-in-law, Sylvia Votino of Sharpsville.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, David A. Chaussard, who passed away Feb. 6, 2006; and his two brothers, George and Bob Chaussard.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Josephs Church, 79 Case Ave., Sharon, PA 16146.
Calling hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009 at the J. Bradley McGonigle Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 1090 E. State St. in Sharon.

Interment will be at Mt. Washington Cemetery in Jefferson Township.
