Theresa M. Pilolli, 84

YOUNGSTOWN – There will be a Mass of Christian Burial held today, Aug. 7, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Christine Church in Youngstown with the Rev. Kevin Peters officiating, preceded by a 9:15 a.m. prayer service held at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. in Boardman for Theresa M. Pilolli, 84, who passed away on Monday morning, Aug. 3, 2009.
Theresa will always be remembered and loved by her family and friends.
She was born Nov. 11, 1924 in Niles, the daughter of August and Augusta (Mastrantonio) Rossi and was a lifelong area resident.
Theresa was employed at McKelvey’s Department Store as a sales clerk along with being a homemaker, and was a graduate of East High School. She was a member of St. Christine Church, various ladies card clubs and a founding member of the Arco Club.
Theresa loved dancing, traveling on bus trips and to Italy, and was an excellent cook and baker. She also loved to have company and socialize and everyone was always welcome at her home.
Her husband, Edmond D. Pilolli, whom she married Nov. 11, 1950, died July 3, 1981.
She leaves behind to hold on to her memories her five children, Lucia (Mike) Yurco of Youngstown, Denise Pilolli of Canfield, Gina (Julius) Chirumbolo of North Canton, Teresa Ann (Dave) King of Liberty and Edmond A. (Patricia) Pilolli of Canfield; nine grandchildren, Jeffrey Shood, David Ryan King, Natalie Chirumbolo, Arielle Pilolli, Rocco Chirumbolo and Sophia, Edmond, Elizabeth and Dominic Pilolli; and two step grandchildren, Dennis (Palma) Yurco and Greg (Stella) Yurco; a stepgreat-granddaughter, Kayla; a brother, Atty. Daniel (Mary) Rossi; and many nieces and nephews whom she adored and loved.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a twin sister, Carmella Rossi.
Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St., Boardman, OH 44512.
