Catherine  ”Cathy” Marie Russo, 50

YOUNGSTOWN – Prayers will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at Saint Luke Church, celebrated by Father Joseph Fata, for Catherine “Cathy” Marie Russo, 50, who died on Nov. 10, 2009 at Hospice of the Valley on Sharrott Road.
Catherine was born May 22, 1959 in Youngstown, the daughter of Joseph S. and Rosemary Saunders Russo.
Since graduating from the Leonard Kirtz School in 1979, Cathy had been steadily (and very happily) employed by Masco Inc., most recently on Rayen Avenue at the facility managed by Gateways to Better Living Inc.
Cathy not only leaves her mother, but also three brothers, Gary of Youngstown, Kenny (Carol) of Austintown and Richard (Mary Lou) of Cincinnati. She also leaves her Gateways to Better Living family, the nine ladies with whom she shared a home on Early Road, as well as the many staff who provided caring support.
Besides her father; a brother, John Michael; and a sister, Marjorie L. Gasper are also deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Nov. 13, at the Fox Funeral Home in Boardman.
