Michael W. Scott, 44

CUYAHOGA FALLS – Michael W. Scott, 44, died Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Akron City Hospital.
He was born June 18, 1965 in Youngstown, a son of Robert and Beverly Thomas Scott and had lived in Cuyahoga Falls for eight years.
Mr. Scott was an environmental engineer for the State of Ohio Environmental Protection Agency in Twinsburg for nine years.
He was a 1983 graduate of Hubbard High School, served with the U.S. Air Force for six years, and was a 1999 graduate of Youngstown State University.
Michael was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls and was an avid sports fan.
He leaves his parents, Robert and Beverly Scott of Hubbard; his wife, the former Lisa A. Beck, whom he married May 6, 2000; three daughters, Heather A., Madison L. and Christina G. Scott, all at home; a brother, James R. Scott of Cabot, Ark.; a sister, Patricia R. Pennington of Aurora; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, David A. and Anne Beck of Poland.
Funeral services will be held today at 11 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home in Hubbard, where family and friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church of Cuyahoga Falls, where family and friends may call one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church.
The family requests that memorial donations be made to the Michael Scott Memorial Fund at any Huntington Bank.
