James H. “Jim” Miller, 71

AUSTINTOWN – There will be a funeral service held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11, 2009,0 at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for James H. “Jim” Miller, 71, who passed away at 5:55 p.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2009, at his home.
Jim was born March 29, 1938 in Youngstown, the only son of the late James and Clare Miller and was a graduate of South High School.
Jim was the former owner of the SOHIO Station in Canfield and worked as a mechanic for the former Myers Chevrolet in North Jackson. Jim retired in March of 2006 after 29 years as a Diesel Mechanic with Schwebels Bakery. Jim was inducted into the ASE Automotive Hall of Fame in Midland, Mich.
Jim was a member of the FOE No. 3298 in Austintown, the National Rifle Association and the Humane Society of the United States. He enjoyed boating, yard work and golf.
Jim is survived by his wife, Janet A. (Snyder) Keller-Miller; a son, Joe (Laurie) Keller of Austintown; four grandchildren, Jacob, Katie, Cassie and Magie Keller; and a host of other close family and friends.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
