![]() YOUNGSTOWN Extras are needed for a Hollywood feature film tentatively called "Walker Payne," which will film in the Mahoning Valley on Saturday and Sunday in a local coal strip mine. The extras will be coal strip miners from 1957. Adult males 18 and over are needed for both days of filming. Extras may need to have their hair cut or facial hair trimmed. Extras coming to the casting session will need to bring a nonreturnable photo, which can be a Xerox copy. Casting will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday in the Ohio One Building, 25 E. Boardman St., in the second-floor auditorium. The film, produced by Judd Payne and directed by Matt Williams, stars Jason Patric, Sam Shepard, Bruce Dern and Drea de Matteo. The opening scene will be filmed in the Mahoning Valley with Patric, who plays an unemployed strip miner forced to make different decisions about his two daughters. ![]()
